Wrexham’s Carnival of Words 2017 has just finished and I got the chance to meet and chat with some fabulous authors, some of whom you’ll know and some you won’t. Check out my photos below:
Meeting and chatting with Chocolat author, Joanne Harris before her inspiring talk:
A very interesting talk by DC Lisa Cutts and TV and Film writer Simon Booker all about writing a good murder:
At the New Voices event (more on that in a separate post), I got to meet crime write A D Garret (or Margaret Murphy as she’s sometimes known!):
The week finished with an Historical Fiction night and a ‘My Era is Better than Your Era’ competition between authors William Ryan, Deborah Swift, Emma Darwin and Sally O’Reilly:
Followed by Ben Kane telling us about his life as a vet and his fund raising events:
Needless to say, I spent a fortune on books this week. They are all signed copies though ?
