  • Unleashed: Tales From a Scarygirl

On a scary day a scarygirl releases scary Tales upon the world….

Tales to set your nerves on edge. Tales to chill you to the core. Tales to make you want to sleep with the light on. But most of all, Tales to make you afraid, very afraid, of what lurks between the veil of this world and the next. A veil at its finest at twilight and at dawn, but a veil that can be lifted at any time.

Don’t forget to lock your doors and adhere to those superstitions. For, dear reader, every superstition is grounded in reality…

I am often asked why I write about the things I do and my answer really is, why not? The supernatural is such a fascinating, scary, disturbing, exciting and rewarding subject matter, that there is always something new to create.

Fear is the most potent of all emotions. It protects us, it stretches us and it helps us to be who we really dream to be. Fear drives us forward; it does not hold us back. Fear is to be welcomed, not shunned. Fear is to be celebrated. For, without fear, the world would be a dark and dreary place.

With Tales From a Scarygirl, I want to provoke your fear; I want to bring it to the forefront of your mind; I want to make your heart race; make your skin clammy; and make your senses go into overdrive. For, it is only then will I know I have achieved my aim – to scare the hell out of you!

As to where my stories come from, well, some are based on reality; some are based on things I have seen, things I have heard and things I have read. But, dear reader, most of all, they come from the deepest, darkest recesses of my mind, where only the bravest of all souls dare to venture.

    Do you dare?

May fear protect you when the darkness comes.

    Til next time.
