Wrexham-based Marie Anne Cope has secured a deal with Missouri publishing house Crimson Cloak Publishing, that will see her debut novel ‘Bonds‘ released in US bookshops in 2018.
Described as ‘better than Twilight’, Bonds tells the story of Becca Martin’s struggle to accept her birthright as a witch and Antony Cardover’s battle to break his vampire curse.
Marie has also released a sequel to Bonds entitled ‘Broken Bonds‘, as well as a collection of short stories entitled ‘Tales from a Scarygirl‘.
Looking ahead to the US publication of Bonds, Marie said: “I’m absolutely delighted that Bonds will soon be physically on sale in the United States. The team at Crimson Cloak Publishing have been incredibly helpful and supportive and i’m very much looking forward to working with them.”
“I’ve had a fabulous response to the book from people across the Atlantic who’ve bought it online, so I hope this partnership will give more people an opportunity to experience the world of Becca and Antony.”
To celebrate Halloween 2016, I was invited by Heather at Calon FM in Wrexham to appear on her show, ‘Something Completely Different‘.
We had a fab time chatting about my writing, as I read extracts from Tales from a Scarygirl and talked about some folklore surrounding the spookiest time of the year.
I hope you were able to listen on the day, but if you missed it, you can listen again here…
